5) Maturity Onset Diabetes Of The Young (MODY)

MODY is a very unique kind of diabetes and is created by a modification change in a single gene which obstructs insulin production.  It can affect any age.  There are 11 types of MODY diabetes and each analysis has a different determination. Maturity onset diabetes MODY 1, 3, and 4 can be controlled with medicines called a sulfonylurea. MODY 2 can be treated with a proper diet and exercise. MODY 5 may need many treatments and MODY 7-11 were only newly identified.
